Jennifer Keintz
the next Lt. Governor of South Dakota
Jennifer has a long history of working hard for South Dakotans. She currently serves in the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 1, which includes Brown, Day, Marshall, and Roberts counties. In the legislature, she sits on the House Education and House Health and Human Services Committees.
Jennifer, her husband Corey, and their daughter Amelia reside in Eden, South Dakota. Her family roots are in farming and agriculture; both she and Corey come from families who have farmed for generations. She is also a small business owner. Jennifer is on the board of her local nursing home and believes that addressing the shortage of quality, affordable long-term care options for rural seniors is one of the most crucial issues currently facing South Dakota.
Despite wearing so many different hats in her work life, at the end of the day, Jennifer’s most important job is being Amelia’s mother. Jennifer Keintz is in this race because she wants to see her daughter grow up in a state that provides every opportunity for Ameila, and all of South Dakota’s children to flourish. She believes that, as parents, we all want to leave behind a better world for our children. For Jennifer, this means working to make South Dakota more welcoming for everyone, creating opportunity in every corner of the state, protecting seniors, and reducing the cost of education. Jennifer will work tirelessly as Lt. Governor to meet the needs of every South Dakotan.
